St.John-St. James Evangelical Lutheran 3K and 4K is a minsitry of St. John-St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church.  We are part of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod (WELS).



What does WELS stand for?

Wisconsin—because it was founded in Milwaukee, WI, in 1850. Our church is active in all 50 states and 20 world fields

Evangelical.—because it is dedicated to the Evangel (Good News) of salvation by grace through faith alone.

Lutheran —because it reflects the free message of salvation rediscovered by Martin Luther in the Reformation of the Church.

Synod —because this Greed word, meaning “walking together” describes a fellowship of 1200 congregations working together to train pastors and teachers to preserve the pure teachings of God’s Word
